During his time at Hertha Berlin (2001/2006), Marcelinho was one of the most talented and creative players in the Bundesliga. He was known for his excellent technique, dribbling skills, and his ability to score spectacular goals. His charismatic personality made him a fan favorite at Hertha Berlin and helped him become one of the most beloved players in the club's history.
Overall, Marcelinho's time at Hertha Berlin was a huge success. He scored 79 goals and provided 67 assists in 209 appearances for the club. He was also named the Bundesliga Player of the Year in the 2005/2006 season.
